The piano consists of black and white keys. By looking at the keys, you will see that the black keys are in groups of two and groups of three. As you go up the piano to the right, you will hear that the notes will get higher in pitch. when you play the group of black keys to the left you will hear that the notes will get lower in pitch.

Tip 2: Understanding the notes on the grand staff.
Understanding the grand staff may sound difficult but overall it is not as bad as it appears. The grand staff consists of two clefs the Treble clef (Right Hand) and Bass Cleff (Left Hand). Each staff consists of lines and spaces. Each line and space is a specific note on the piano.
